Michael Janich’s Yojimbo 2 design was instrumental in defining the genre of the “tactical Wharncliffe.” His YoJumbo builds on that success, scaling the design up by over 20 percent and refining its ergonomics to accommodate a wider range of hand sizes.
The YoJumbo’s formidable four-inch (102mm) Wharncliffe blade is hollow ground from CPM S30V stainless steel for superior edge geometry and features a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole for swift, ambidextrous, one-handed opening. Its handle showcases easy-to-clean, open-backed construction and nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners. These features keep the knife’s weight to a minimum, while its coarse-textured G-10 scales promote a secure, non-slip grip. The liners also form the foundation of its high-strength Compression Lock mechanism and anchor its four-position pocket clip, which is configurable for tip-up or tip-down carry on either side of the body. A truly formidable cutting tool optimized for personal-defense use, the YoJumbo is available with a satin-finished blade and brightly finished hardware and in an all-black configuration with a Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) blade coating and black-coated liners, clip, and handle hardware.
