Building on the Curado DC legacy of durability, dependability, and all-around versatility, the updated Curado DC 150 features enhanced IDC4 firmware for even greater casting control. Existing within a suite of proprietary technology, Shimano’s Digital Control braking system uses an onboard microcomputer to monitor spool speed 1,000 times per second, applying the optimal amount of braking to reduce backlash while maximizing casting distance, offering practical advantages for anglers of all skill levels.

Features:

• MGL Spool III: An ultra-thin MGL III Spool reduces inertia for smoother, more precise casting—even with lighter lures
• IDC4: Automatically optimizes spool speed and reduces backlash for controlled, repeatable casting performance
• HAGANE Body: Rigid metal reel frame that resists flexing under load, channeling the angler’s effort directly into smooth, efficient cranking power
• Cross Carbon Drag: Provides the smoothest Shimano drag performance ever, while providing anglers with increased durability
