Operation Instructions:

• Demo Mode:Initial charging required to permanently unlock flashlight from demo mode.
• To Unlock from Lockout: Double press button
• On/Off: Cycle through modes to Off, or press button when it not illuminated to go directly to Off
• Cycle Modes: While illuminated, press button to change modes

Charging and Battery Instructions:

• Charging the XP709:
  To charge the flashlight, locate the USB-C port cover on the back of the light. Open the cover and insert the USB-C end of the charging cable into the port. Connect the other end of the cable to a 5V USB power source.
• Battery Indicator:
  A blue light means the battery is above 30% charged. A red light indicates low power—charging is recommended.
• Charge Time:
  Approximately 3–4 hours for a full charge.
• Using AAA Batteries:
  The XP709 can also operate on 3 AAA batteries. To switch power sources:
  • Unscrew the tail cap.
  • Remove the rechargeable battery.
  • Insert 3 AAA batteries into the included battery holder.
  • Place the battery holder into the flashlight with the arrow pointing downward.
  • Screw the tail cap back on securely.
